Los Angeles County-based Wilson Industries originated the concept of transparent welding curtains in 1968. For more than 50 years, we have designed innovative soft-wall partitions and related textile products that are delivered on time and to our customers’ specifications. Our high-quality Spectra Orange Welding Curtain™ still leads the welding industry as an innovative welding safety product.

Strip Doors and Strip Curtains
Moving through noisy, hazardous or environmentally controlled (energy wasting) work areas is more efficient and cost effective with quality-made See-Thru Strip Doors™ and See-Thru Strip Curtains™. Wilson’s See-Thru™ strip curtains and strip doors, which meet or exceed OSHA specifications, allow easy access then automatically reseal with no-gap closure. Packaged or custom-made strip door and strip curtain solutions are available.

Protective High Temperature Blankets and Welding Roll Goods
Wilson Industries designs Weld-O-Glass™ high-temperature blankets and specialty extreme-heat safety blankets that will protect personnel and equipment from sparks and molten metal splash. Weld-O-Glass™ will reduce energy consumption and help alleviate costs and environmental impact while dramatically increasing the safety of your operation. Wilson also manufactures radiant heat barriers, molten metal “slag” blankets, stress relief blankets, and removable pipe and valve covers. Those who rely on Weld-O-Glass™ include manufacturers of metals, petroleum, chemicals, glass and paper as well as applications in which extreme heat and flames may endanger workers.

Stainless Steel Mesh Shields
The Stainless Steel Mesh Safety Shield or ‘Chip Guard' has always been the safety screen of choice for industrial safety professionals. Wilson Industries’ steel mesh shields are ideal safety protection for destructive or explosive testing environments and will out-perform other flying shrapnel guards and shields. All steel mesh guards are made to your specifications.

Personal Safety Clothing & Protection
We leave nothing to chance with our protective Denim Aprons, protective Denim Sleeves, and Back Hand Pads™. These attractive, protective Denim Aprons and protective Denim Sleeves come in several styles and can be custom made to fit your exact requirements. The Back Hand Pads™ protect the back of the welder’s glove from weld splatter and radiant heat. You will weld longer in high radiant heat while increasing the life of your gloves.

Anti-Static Curtains
Electro-Safe Anti-Static Curtains™ are static-free, making them ideal for areas and instrumentations that need to be completely dust free. A carbon scrim grounds out electrical charges, bringing the curtain down to zero voltage. Applications include machine and instrument covers, clean rooms, electronic industry safety screens and any area that has static-electric sensitivity.

Accordion Fold Curtain
A smart, clean looking, flat folding curtain allows maximum access capability. Our Accordion Flat-Folding Curtains™ are manufactured with transparent Spectra Orange™, clear film for visibility or from our variety of opaque Rip-Stop vinyl for light management or privacy. The dynamic structure of the 12" wide panels assures an easy folding action for storage.

Anti-Fatigue Mats
Finally, a stress relief mat for the welding area. The Wilson Splatter Mat™ repels hot objects yet is designed for comfort. Our mats will take the pain out of standing for long periods of time.

Wilson Industries designs and manufactures Laz-R-Barrier™, a quality laser safety product for the industrial and medical work place. From free standing Class 3 and 4 laser barriers to permanent laser curtains, we design solutions for any laser application. All Wilson products will assist in increasing productivity and meet or exceed the current specifications of ANSI 136.1. Weld-O-Glass™ Welding Blankets and Roll Goods
Wilson Industries’ Weld-O-Glass™ welding blankets and welding roll goods protect equipment and personnel near hazardous operations such as welding, flame-cutting, grinding or arc spraying. Weld-O-Glass™ welding blankets, made from high-tech fabrics that incorporate fiberglass, carbon, and silica materials, allow working at temperatures ranging from 600 to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Welding blankets are made to measure or are available as welding blanket roll stock.

Auto Bay Curtain Walls, Spark Guards & Accessories
Wilson Industries’ quality-made auto bay curtain walls and auto welding blankets allow auto-repair work processes to be separate yet simultaneous, putting every inch of available space to work. Wilson has the experience and know-how to help divide any large auto-body work area into smaller compartments for safety, productivity and multi-tasking convenience. See-through walls increase safety and productivity and improve work flow in any collision-repair facility. All auto bay curtain walls meet California State Fire Marshal and NFPA 701 requirements for flame resistance.
