Electro-Safe Anti-Static Curtain

A superior anti-static, see-through vinyl curtain. A carbon scrim grounds out electrical charges, bringing the curtain down to zero voltage. Ideal anywhere a dust-free environment is vital.

Wilson Industries originated the Electro-Safe anti-static curtain, a scientifically engineered transparent See-Thru vinyl that is also fire retardant. The Wilson Electro-Safe curtain has been designed to eliminate objectionable features of other anti-static curtains when used in particularly demanding conditions.

Electro-Safe is static-free and is ideal for areas and instrumentations that need to be completely dust free. Its applications include machine and instrument covers, clean rooms and electronic industry safety screens.

An outstanding feature of plastic polymeric film is its high surface and high volume resistivity. Electro-Safe consists of a polymeric sheet with a grid, or lattice, of conducting paint. The applied lines obscure less than 0.17% of the surface, leaving the remainder clear with unaltered physical properties. The conductivity will not be decreased by handling or cleaning because of the thickness of the conductor in the lines.
The Electro-Safe also complies with the stringent requirements of the National Fire Protection Association for “Recommended Safe Practice for Hospital Operating Rooms,” which demands that “no point on a non-conductive element of the surface is more than one quarter of an inch from a conductive element of the surface.”
